Small Animal Antioxidants - Powerful antioxidants for dogs and cats.

Antioxidants help strengthen the immune system by destroying free radicals before they can attack DNA or cause oxidation. Many scientists believe that oxidative stress is the cause of numerous diseases that affect eyesight, skin and mucous membranes, digestion, asthma, respiratory functions, blood circulation and liver cells.

This formula combines vitamins A, C, E, beta carotene and selenium with powerful antioxidants such as grape seed extract, alpha lipoic acid and silymarin to help combat these diseases and other ailments associated with the aging process.

Each capsule contains:

Vitamin A...1800 I.U.
Vitamin A is essential for supporting eyesight, maintaining healthy skin and protecting the mucous membranes of the mouth, nose, throat and lungs, thereby reducing susceptibility to infections. Too much Vitamin A can be toxic – always follow recommended dosage

Mixed Carotenoids...1800 I.U.
Lycopene, the carotenoid that gives tomatoes their red color, is particularly effective at protecting cells and tissues from the damaging effects of oxidation. Lutein and zeaxanthin provide protection in the macular region of the eye. Mixed carotenoids may be beneficial to animals with cancer, cataracts, respiratory problems (including asthma) and allergies.

Vitamin C...450 mg.
Vitamin C helps in the production of collagen, promotes the healing of wounds and fractures, and strengthens blood vessels. It also enhances T-cell production which helps to fight off viral and bacterial infections and some allergies. Vitamin C is especially beneficial to animals with any type of chronic disease, infection allergy or dermatitis.

Vitamin E...175 I.U.
Vitamin E supplies oxygen to the blood, strengthens capillary walls and protects red blood cells. It brings nourishment to cells and helps to maintain healthy membrane tissue. Vitamin E is especially beneficial to aging animals and animals with heart disease, cancer and atopic dermatitis.

Selenium…10 mcg.
Selenium is a mineral that protects cell membranes and slows down the aging and hardening of tissues due to oxidation. It is beneficial to animals suffering from cancer (and as a cancer preventative). Too much selenium can be toxic – always follow recommended dosage.

Grape Seed Extract…45 mg.
Grape seed extract promotes cellular health, elasticity and flexibility and improves blood circulation by strengthening capillaries, arteries and veins. Aging animals and those with cataracts, cancer and heart disease may benefit from grape seed extract.

Milk Thistle Extract…45 mg.
Milk thistle extract blocks the entrance of harmful toxins and helps to remove these toxins from liver cells. It has also been shown to regenerate injured liver cells by inducing new DNA and RNA synthesis.

Alpha Lipoic Acid…15 mg.
Alpha Lipoic Acid is called the “universal antioxidant” because it works in both water and fatty tissues, thus providing protection to all your pet’s cells and parts of its body, including the brain.

Natural Bacon Flavoring... Flavoring contains an extremely small amount of soy that does not affect most dogs, even those allergic to soy.
 

Each bottle contains 120 capsules.

Dosage for cats: 1/2 capsule daily
Dosage for Dogs: 1 capsules for every 25 lbs body weight.
