Sick Cat

Sookie is a 10 lb cat. Has had diarrhea since july 2009. Vet found nothing wrong and Sookie has been on many medications. Nothing as worked.
On prednisone for the last 3 months.

Started Gastriplex almost 1 month ago. He is better but far from well. Good bowel movement one time, diarrhea the next.

Advised by your holistic vet to try FOS. Added this to his diet about 1 week ago.

Still not much improvement.

Iknow this will take time, but, I had hoped he would have stabilized more than this by now.

My cat recently had a bout of IBD (mostly vomiting with some blood). After spending ALOT of money at the vet (all kinds of tests, biopsies,5 days in the hospital and exploratory surgery), I took him home with all kinds of meds. The next step was prednosone which I did not want to do. I put my Alfie on a no grain diet of only a high quality wet food (my cat hated the food the vet prescribed), and started him on Gastriplex. Thank God for this product! After a few days his stool had some form and after a week it's getting even better. I'm hoping I won't have to start him on the prednisone once the vet sees how great he is doing!

Prior to trying Gastriplex, our 23 lb cocker spaniel was needing to go out 4 or 5 times between 11 pm and 7 am. He had been to the vets numerous times and had the full table of tests done to determine what was wrong. Needless to say, the vet was unable to determine the problem. Tried different medications provided by the vet but nothing helped. Also tried special dog foods provided by the vet but it also did nothing. Once we started him on Gastriplex, he goes out at 10 pm and does not have to go back out until after 8 am. This product have been and real life saver as well as a sleep saver.

Helped My Cat Recover from Colitis

This product has greatly helped my cat who has colitis which can cause diarrhea. I am now feeding him wet canned food with no grain along with Gastriplex.The Gastriplex is the only product that has helped along with a change in diet. After starting him on it there has been a gradual improvement in health over a period of a few weeks.

I just reviewed this product a few days ago and made a mistake in the amount of "stars" I wanted to give it, so I'm sending in another update about my cat. After 10 days Alfie is now producing solid stools and never went on the prednisone. I couldn't be more pleased with this product and am now giving it to all three of my cats because I know it will improve their health!

This product has saved my poor dog from a lifetime on and off of antibiotics and Flagyl. I believe that Flagyl ( often prescribed for Irritable Bowel)
can be a dangerous drug and I believe it may have caused a neurological condition in my dog.I have switched from traditional treatment to Gastriplex ( 2 years ago) . As soon as I start to see symptoms ( gas, not eating) I give him Gastriplex and he is better usually within an hour. It has been a great relief to get him off constant antibiotics and Flagyl.

This product has worked wonders for my husky mix. He suffers from occasional GI upsets and this product always helps clear it up quickly. I like the ingredients and always keep this on hand for emergencies.

My 4-year-old dog developed diarrhea several weeks ago and when it didn't clear up with the usual home remedies (withholding food for 12 hours, followed by several days of rice and cottage cheese), I took him to the vet. He tested negative for Giardia, didn't have a fever, and was otherwise fine. She prescribed an antibiotic and told me to call her if the diarrhea came back after the medication ran out. That made me wonder, but I started him on the medication nonetheless. Within a day, his bowel movements had returned to normal, but within three days of being done with the antibiotics, he was back to full-blown diarrhea. Instead of calling the vet, I started to do some research, and that's how I found Gastriplex. I slowly switched him over to Nature's Variety raw food, and I started giving him Gastriplex daily. Within two days, his diarrhea was gone, and I feel relieved not to have to put him on more antibiotics.

Fabulous product!
I have a 14 year old Aussie who for several years has had diarhea, sometimes bloody. Vet prescribed meds only helped for short periods. Since I started to give her this product about 3 years ago, no more problems.

Our holistic vet recommended this product several years ago, after other digestive products didn't work, for one of our dogs. It worked wonders! All 3 of our dogs now receive Gastriplex and they have no digestive or elimination problems. As our vet said, "all the right things in one great pill."

Leo had inflammatory bowel problems that could barely be kept under control with medicine from the vet. I switched to Gastriplex and saw a great improvement in 2-3 days. My dog is healthy because of this product. I hope it will continue to be produced for years to come.

My cat had severe IBS and was traking prednisone for over 6 months. I had to use the Gastriplex for 30 days with food before I started tapering her off the prednisone. I still don't understand how a little cat could swallow that big capsule but she liked it in her food. I did change her diet to a no grain cat food (EVO) as well. She is completely off her prednisone and is just as happy as she can be. My regular vet still doesn't believe I'm only giving her the Gastriplex.

Keeps Leo on an even keel

Leo's inflammatory bowel problems could not be controlled unless he was on an antibiotic all the time. With Gastriplex he rarely has any problems at all (and those are usually from eating something I should not have given him - I confess). Any problems are shortlived. It has been great for Leo.

This product was a life saver for my Shitzu Benji. After a stay at a family run kennel, Benji developed loss of appetite, constant diarrhea and weight loss. The vet ran every test that was available, changed his diet, put him on 4 different antibiotics and assorted medications. He continued to fail, losing weight, not eating and having at least 6 bouts of watery diarrhea a day. You could see his skeletal structure he was so thin. He used to be very active, loving, and loved to curl up. It got to point that all he did was moan. This was the fourth month of this ordeal. The vet said he had no other alternatives and Benji was basically starving. He was down to 8.5 lbs.

Out of desperation I began searching for an alternative, any alternative! One day I found the Holistic Pet site and spoke with a staff member. She recommended Gastriplex. Benji started with 3 tablets a day and by the 4th day he had a formed stool. Within 2 weeks Benji was eating again and having very infrequent loose stools. At three weeks he was gaining weight, no diarrhea, and gained energy.

Today, Benji weights 14 lbs and is the loving, active happy go lucky baby he used to be. This product saved little benji, I still give him one tablet a day but we have not had any diarrhea in 3 months now.

I have several pesky squirrels who drop all sorts of half eaten things they've obtained from the alley dumpster in my backyard. My two golden retrievers eat everything dropped and would get frequent bouts of diarrhea. One Gastriplex capsule with each meal has ended the diarrhea. If only I could get rid of the squirrels as easily!

Our 40 lb. Terrier Mix injured his right rear knee 1½ years ago. He was given a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory to help with the pain. This immediately gave him severe diarrhea, having accidents in the house, and a lot of bad gas. We tried the chicken, rice, cottage cheese bland diet, prescription food, organic foods, even took him off of the medication and tried all of the foods over again, but it wouldn’t stop for over a year and a half. Nothing our vet recommended worked to make him better. I felt so bad for him as we were leaving him in the care of a neighbor to go on vacation for 2 weeks this past January. After speaking with a representative, she assured me that Gastriplex works but it could take up to 2 months get him back to normal after a long period of time as he needs time to heal inside. I ordered it rush shipment and started him on a bland diet again immediately and following the directions for dosage to weight. 2 months after the start of using it, he is back to normal bowl movements, feeling much better, more energy and no more accidents in the house. This really improved our dogs quality of life and we are so grateful.
