Fractionated PectinVET Powder by Thorne - Nutritional Support for Pets with Cancer

Fractionated pectin, also known as modified citrus pectin, is a complex polysaccharide obtained from the peel and pulp of citrus fruits. Modified citrus pectin is rich in galactoside residues, molecules that have an affinity for certain types of undesirable cells. Galactoside residues can preferentially bind to lectins on the cell membranes of these undesirable cells, thereby preventing their attachment to normal cells, and inhibiting the growth of these cells.

Each jar contains 5 oz. (141 grams)

Ingredients per 6.5 gram scoop:

Fractionated Pectin. . . 6.5 grams

The use of Fractionated Pectin in this product is protected under U.S. Patent No. 5,498,702.

Each jar contains 5 oz. (141 grams)

Cats: 1/4 scoop daily.
Dogs: 1 scoop per 25 lbs body weight daily

For use in cats, dogs and horses only. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven.
