L-Carnitine (as L-Carnitine L-Tartrate)...140 mg
L-Carnitine is an essential amino acids which plays an important role in fat metabolism. It is a transporter of fatty acids into the mitochondria, thereby providing the fuel the heart needs to pump and oxygenates heart muscle cells. L-Carnitine also supports a healthy heart by preventing the development of fat deposits around the heart. Supplementation with L-Carnitine has been shown to improve appetite and exercise tolerance in dogs.

L-Taurine...140 mg
Taurine is an amino acid which helps muscle contractions and absorption of calcium. It is often deficient in cats.

Hawthorne extract (Crataegus laevigata)..70 mg
Hawthorne is a highly respected herb and has well-known cardio-protective properties. Hawthorn works by dilating blood vessels, thereby increasing the heart's energy supply and improving its pumping ability and does this by blocking the action of a blood constricting enzyme called ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme). The anti-oxidant properties of hawthorn also help to protect against damage caused by plaque build-up in the coronary arteries.

Eleuthero extract (Eleutherococcus senticosus)...70 mg
Eleuthero extract is an herb that supports the adrenal glands and reduces the effects of stress. Found in Siberian ginseng, this herb also boosts energy and strengthens the immune system.

Vitamin E (as d-Alpha Tocopheryl)...(70 IU)...58 mg
Vitamin E supplies oxygen to the blood, strengthens capillary walls and protects red blood cells. It brings nourishment to cells and helps to maintain healthy membrane tissue. Vitamin E is especially beneficial to aging animals and animals with heart disease, cancer and atopic dermatitis.

Coenzyme Q10...20 mg
CoQ-10 is a nutrient present in every cell of the body. As animals get older, their body's ability to make CoQ-10 diminishes so it is especially important to supplement this nutrient in senior pets. Co-Q10 strengthens the heart muscle and enhances oxygenation of the heart.

Arjuna extract (Terminalia arjuna)  ...35 mg
Arjuna is an herb that improves the pumping activity of the heart and strengthens the cardiac muscles. 

Magnesium (Citrate-Malate)...  500 mcg
Magnesium is needed for enzyme functions, muscle and nerve cell membrane stability.

Potassium (Citrate-Malate)...100 mcg
Potassium is needed for acid-base balance, nerve-impulse transmission.

Inactive Ingredients: Hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule, Leucine, Natural Bacon Flavoring, Silicon Dioxide.  Contains ingredient derived from soy.

Dosage for cats: 1/2 capsule daily
Dosage for Dogs: 1 capsules for every 25 lbs body weight.
