Is Calcium Fluoride Safe for Cats?

I am curous about one of the ingredients in the Pet Alive Heart & Circulation tonic – Calcium Fluoride. I have not been able to find anywhere that this is used for heart conditions in cats. Fluoride I know if very toxic itself, but I do understand the homeopathic remedies. Can you explain more about it and if it is safe.

Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry to Holistic Pet Info. Calcium Fluoride is a cell salt mineral that is the safe form of fluoride. It helps with the strength of capillaries and elastic fibers found in the skin, connective tissue and vascular walls. Calcium fluoride helps with circulation and muscle tone. It is a mineral that is also extensively used for bone and teeth health, but its tissue strengthening effects are highly beneficial for cardiac health.

I hope this answers your questions.
Sincerely,
Colleen Smith DVM, CVA
