We have a 10 year old Daschund whom our vet claims is a poster child for Cushings Disease, though she has not gone through any of the required testing. Would it be harmful to give her the PetAlive Cushex Drops for a few months if it were the case that she does not have Cushings Disease? Thank you.

Thank you for your inquiry to Holistic Pet Info. I would highly recommend having your dog tested for Cushings Disease before any treatment started. Cushex Drops are not meant to cure Cushings Disease, only to facilitate and support the body during treatment. It may not be an issue offering the tincture if the dog does not have Cushings but please remember homeopathics contain highly diluted compounds that are meant to counteract an imbalance in the body. If these specific imbalances are not present the tincture may possibly cause other issues.
