Our 9 year old female Bedlington Terrier has just been diagnosed with Pancreatitis. Which supplement do you recommend? He has soft, frequent, small mucousy stools. His blood work indicates definite pancreatitis. Thank you.

If your vet has not already placed your dog on digestive enzymes and probiotics, I highly recommend offering both. Animal Essentials Plant Enzymes and Probiotics contain digestive enzymes to take the burden off the pancreas and help the gastrointestinal tract absorb properly. Also, the Complete Probiotics should help the healthy bacteria support the immune system maintain a balanced colon. When the bacteria in the colon are stable then the motility (movement) and consistency of the stool become normal.
