CurcuVET from Thorne Research - Anti-inflammatory and Antioxidant Support for Dogs and Cats

CurcuVet-SA50 is a curcumin supplement for cats and dogs (under 75 lbs.) and is recommended for liver, musculoskeletal, and GI support.
CurcuVet helps to:
  • Maintain  the animal's normal inflammatory response
  • Provide potent antioxidant and hepatoprotective activity

For centuries people throughout Asia have benefited from the healthful effects of curcumin. Curcumin is the orange pigment in turmeric and is a potent antioxidant that offers numerous health benefits including joint health, hepatic (liver) support, gastrointestinal health, and cardiovascular function by helping to maintain the animal's normal inflammatory response.

Why Worry About Inflammation?

  • Inflammation of the joints can cause arthritis.
  • Inflammation of the intestinal tract, or Inflammatory Bowel Disease, leads to vomiting, diarrhea and weight loss.
  • Many common anti-inflammatory drugs can cause serious damage to the GI tract, kidneys and liver.
Studies have shown curcumin not only helps reduce pain and inflammation, it also protects the gastrointestinal tract, liver and kidneys from damage. CurcuVet can be used as a primary treatment for arthritis, liver disease, IBD, and can also be used as a complementary treatment to these diseases when NSAIDS, antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs and other medications are being used.

Why CurcuVet?

CurcuVET is a unique curcumin extract that is significantly better absorbed than other curcumin extracts. The curcumin in CurcuVet is bound to a phosphatidylcholine (PC), an essential component of cell membranes. By attaching a curcumin molecule to a PC molecule, the PC ushers the curcumin across the cell membrane for superior absorption. Better absorption means better efficacy!

Each bottle contains 90 capsules.   (For large dogs (75 lbs. +)  use CurcuVet-SA150.

Changed his diet, took away all commercial snack foods , and started curcumin and after about 2weeks, his liver enzymes dropped considerably! Vet was amazed, he is back to his old self again! Wonderful stuff!

Finicky Cat
16 yo cat with arthritis already taking Cosequin daily with moderate results. With my vets approval I added in 50 mg of Curcumin daily. It's hard for me to tell if it's helping since I mix it in her food and she doesn't consistently eat. To me it has no smell or taste like Tumeric does, but it may to her. I think it's definitely worth a try for any cat owner who has a cat with arthritis since the treatment options are very limited.

great product
Love the circumin for my dog's back and joint problems, we thought he was ready to be put down and when the prednisone caused side effects this was a last resort. It is working great so far, we only need to give him some pain meds during the bad weather but this seems to be helping a lot!
